The cop sits at the entrance of a golfball driving range, on the northside of the street across from the Woodward North apartment complex sign entrance in an unmarked dark blue chevy impala.
12 Mile Road near Main Street
The trap area is on 12 Mile Road between Woodward Ave and
Campbell Road. The police radar at hiding spots just off of
12 Mile Road. The posted speed is 30 m.p.h. which for a mile
road in this area is ridiculous.AS soon as you drive out of Royal Oak, the poasted speed goes up to 40 M.P.H. What a money maker for Royal Oak.
Woodward Avenue near Interstate 696
As Woodward takes its long dip under the 696 exchange, cops often stake out a spot along the (very narrow) shoulder, positioned in such a way that it is impossible to see them until the last second. The combination of the slope and the massive concrete bridge creates a blindspot — and a perfect little hideaway for police eager to snare some easy prey.
