Pierce Road near Edwards Crossing

Southfield, MichiganOct 10, 20070 Comments

Police car sits on Edwards and tags cars on Pierce. The important thing is not to expect any justice in the Southfield 47th District Court. I was told by the judge "You don’t think that an officer would jeopardize his career by giving you a ticket you did not deserve." When I heard this I new I had lost any hope of justice in his court. Be careful and if the cop offers you the out of paying without points no matter how innocent you are – take it. Southfield offers no justice and the officers will perjure themselves before the judge.

Northwestern & Lodge Expressway near Civic Center Drive

Southfield, MichiganSep 26, 20070 Comments

Patrol sits in parking lot of Eaton company near S.W. corner of Northwestern Highway/Lodge service drive just west of Civic Center Drive looking for persons going over the 40 mph speed limit on the service drive. I often have people tailgating me if I go less than 45 mph on the service drive.

Evergreen Road near State Route M-10

Southfield, MichiganSep 10, 20070 Comments

When turning from southbound Evergreen onto the Lodge Freeway Service Drive (M-10) southbound, police sit in the Speedway Gas station and issue tickets for making a left turn from the number 2 lane (which used to be legal but now is not).

Mount Vernon Street near Greenfeld Road

Southfield, MichiganSep 05, 20070 Comments

There is a police officer parked on side strip where the stop sign is (as you are traveling westbound on Mt Vernon). Watch your speed and come to a complete stop, do not roll through this stop sign.

Telegraph Road near Interstate

Southfield, MichiganAug 14, 20070 Comments

The police sit at the Holiday Inn on Telegraph Road just north of the 696 Interchange. This area is very heavily watched. I work on Denso Drive and see the police there usually once a week during the morning rush hour (8am – 10am).
