Taylor, Michigan Speed Traps

City of Taylor patrol cars are in median on both sides of I-75. Posted speed is 65. Twice I have been stopped and ticketed for "going 80." The first time I was suspicious, but may have been going 70-75. The second time I know I only going 70. Both tickets were written for "driving 70 in a 65 zone." The fine for 1-5 miles over is $75, although no points are given for an expressway ticket.

Traveling south on Telegraph as you come up from under the Ecorse Rd. overpass Taylor police sit in the furniture store parking lot on the right. Speed limit is 45 m.p.h. Traffic flow is usually 55-65 m.p.h.
