Westland Police Department sit on the West side of Newburgh road to try to catch speeders travelling either North or South bound under the railroad tracks.
Palmer Road near Venoy Road
Cop sits at St.Simon church. He sits far enough back that you can’t see him until it’s too late. I watch it happen from my house all the time.
South John Hix Street near Glenwood and Palmer Streets Crossing
The speed limit drops from 35 mph to 25 mph when crossing Glenwood heading North. They are usually on the East side of the street and they switch driveways. Be careful they will get you.
Farmington Road near Joy Road
Westland Police park on Farmington Road just south of Joy Road among residents cars in unmarked cars waiting for speeders and cars to run the four way stop signs on Joy and Farmington, or Joy and Hines Drive. Livonia Police park Northeast in driveway hide by shrubbs.
