41st Street NW

Police like to hide either behind Rainbow foods, in the Fire Department parking lot, or in the a church parking lot (is that legal??) right off the highway 52 exit on 41st St NW. I’ve seen them there at all times of day, but night is particularly common. The limit posted is 30 MPH, which is way below what people rushing home from work commonly travel at. Beware. Also, Rochester police don’t seem to give warnings…..

Highway 52 right outside the city

Rochester, MinnesotaFeb 01, 20010 Comments

Highway 52 between Rochester and the Twin Cities is regularly a launching pad. Despite a generous 65 speed limit, speeds average between 70-85 on this long, straight, safe road. I was ticked at *4:00 AM* while rushing to make a plane in the Cities. I have NO idea where he was hiding… No warning despite the circumstances. The highways right on the fringes of Rochester are common sites.
