There is a major push on right now to slow down the traffic on I-270 this Spring of 2020. The highway is going to be doing major renovations to Northern end of I-270 above I-70 in April 2020 But the Highway Patrol , along with all the smaller county communities, are putting on a big effort to slow down all the traffic on the I-270 half loop on the Missouri side. They want to make a big showing to reduce speeding before the construction crews get out there. It was on all the local NEWS casts this week. Posted at 60 MPH, They were showing radar camera shots of most going 80 ~ 106 MPH. Suggest that you All slow down for the next few months as I seen many pulled over just today, One day past the NEWS story aired.

At least a dozen of so county cops lined up on the side of the road giving people tickets for anything and everything ! So much so their is a traffic jam on the interstate !
