Carson City, Nevada Speed Traps
Motorcycles cop/cops hide in the Senator Apartments.
The cops hide in the Senator Apts. under the shaded trees so you can’t really see them till it’s too late. They are usually facing south, towards the post office, but when there’s 2 of them, the other one faces north.
N. Roop Street / Waltons Chapel of the Valley
Motorcycle cops sit behind the stone wall where you can’t see them. Watch getting over too soon to the left turning lane, they will ticket you if you get over too soon.
Jack’s Valley Road at Bavarian Drive
Motorcycle cop sits just far enough up Bavarian Drive (Alpine View neighborhood area; Bavarian Drive is just south of the fire station as Jack’s Valley Road curves south) so you can’t see him. The speed limit drops to 35 from 45 here, so they love to hang out here. They also try to get motorists coming northbound as well.

Shell station at 395 and Stewart Street.
Bike cop sits at the south end of the station where he is difficult to see from the south. He pulls in right next to the Shell sign and uses handheld radar to nail drivers going north. Speed limit changes from 35 to 25 right there. Be sure to slow down in plenty of time.
