Route 101

Hampton, New HampshireAug 19, 20021 Comments

101 starts as a back alley with a 25 mph limit then becomes a ramp to a 2-lane expressway of sorts. Speed limit is 50 when you are on the highway. Trap is located just after where the alley turns into a ramp. I was pulled over for "46 in a 25" and I don’t argue with that. Cop was cool and only gave a verbal warning but DO NOT accelerate to 50 until you are ON the highway!

Interstate 95

Troopers frequently work in pairs, so be careful about passing one if he’s already busy with someone else. Troopers are usually seen on the left side, they park down in gully’s which are under the overpasses.

Route 1A (Ocean Boulevard)

Hampton, New HampshireMar 01, 20011 Comments

Along Route 1A for the stretch on North Beach just north of Hampton Beach there is a guardrail in the middle with parking spaces on either side. Cops hide in the middle in a parking space next to an opening in the guardrail so that they can get people coming up the other side.
