on Rte 22 west and Rte 28 exit

Bridgewater, New JerseySep 24, 20110 Comments

Especially at night, the police car sits right on the grassy mound in the open on rte 22 west where the ramp to exit for Rte 28 is. (this is the exit off 22w before you hit Milltown Road). even though he’s out in the open, it’s dark and as you approach the exit, there he is but it’s too late. i know he’s there most nights and I’m still surprised that I don’t see the police car.

Rt 22 W

Bridgewater, New JerseySep 18, 20100 Comments

Officer often sits in St. Bernard Catholic Church parking lot, and time day and nite. When traveling west past Metlife building (on your left), watch for him half a mile ahead. I got pulled over on a week day at 5:30 am!

Rt 22 E and Station Road ramp

Bridgewater, New JerseySep 18, 20100 Comments

At Station Road and Rt 22 ramp, after you pass Miltown road intersection if you are east bound, a cop sometimes sits there at nite watching both east bound traffic and any one that rolls over a yield sign on the ramp entering Rt 22. I got pulled over 11:00 pm at night, for rolling over that yield sign when the upcoming traffic was half a mile away!

Rt 22 "Safe Corridor" 10 mile stretch in Bridgewater, NJ

Bridgewater, New JerseySep 18, 20100 Comments

"Safe Corridor" signs are posted but they are too small to be noticed – or you are too fast to read. Fines double in this stretch of Rt 22 between Somerville in the east (right after the intersection with Rt 202/206) and Branchburg in the west (at Rt 614 intersection/Quick Check). Many speed traps here – read more on Rt 22 traps posted by others, they mostly fall into this section of the road. Bridgewater police works extra hard here. I have seen them following speeding motorists until they enter the "Safe Corridor" and then pull them over. Obviouly they have less concern for your safety than their own pay checks. Remember, fine doubles!

Allen Rd & Ash St

Bridgewater, New JerseyMar 26, 20090 Comments

A cop sits here hidden by a house and trees, waiting for cars to fly by down the narrow road. Don’t be a fool.
