Parsippany, New Jersey Speed Traps
Unmarked car sits on Foxhill rd near Oakdale by end of bridge over rt 80 area. Coming from Denville as soon as you crest the hill and onto the bridge they got ya and wave you over as you approach. Same thing coming from the other way, crest the little hill and they gotcha. During rush hour sometimes 2 unmarked units sit there, great spot.
East and West bound..Troopers sit in the turn around at the bottom of the hill, but there is a hiding spot on both sides midway up the hill. When traveling East it is hidden by a stand of trees, but you can see the trail by looking for the tire tracks worn through the grass.(Have to look in your mirror to see this one. )Same thing on the west bound side.
Patrol cars usually are in the entrance to All Saints Academy. Speed limit is 25 MPH as there are 2 schools on the street.
This is just one location where I’ve seen a trap in the past week. I’ve also seen them on Lake Shore Drive, Edwards Road, and Lake Shore Drive in Lake Parsippany. It’s late August, and there’s a general increase in radar (and laser) trap activity, anticipating school opening. Happens every year.
The cops usually sit on the side of the road near Farmstead Road. They will pull you over for going 31 in a 25. Knoll road is a long road that happens to be 25MPH.
