Staten Island, New York Speed Traps

Officer sits in the Citgo gas station at the intersection of Forest and Richmond Avenue between parked cars. Beware the officer’s car does not have lights on top though it is a marked vehicle. He’s looking for speeders as well as those going through the red light at the intersection. He gets them ALL THE TIME!

heading towards tottenville as you pass sprague on your way towards mount loretto, hylan blvd curves and the car sits off to the right side. coming form the other direction you cant see him until its too late because of a slight hill. im constantly passing the area and he s there at all different times of the day, but especially at night because its not well lit. ive seen him nail at least 6-7 people already. it doesnt matter which side of the road your own, but usually heading out of tottenville so be careful 🙂

West Shore Expressway, just past the Bloomingdale Rd. overpass,
Staten Island Expressway bound. Marked/unmarked car on right off the sholder. Also approx. 500 Fort down the expressway, the Bloomingdale Rd. entrance ramp, cops sometimes sit up high on the ramp where the highway and ramp began to meet. You do not see them unless your looking high right.

Jersey Bound Outerbridge Crossing, marked Port Authority Police Cruiser or Motorcycle sits in a holding area just right of the toll plaza. He’ll follow you over the bridge, and pull you over in Perth Amboy. Fortunately for me, as a NY resident, I did not recieve any points, because fines on the Outerbridge (at least NJ Bound) are prosecuted in Perth Amboy.

Getting off the expressway, you get onto Goethels Road North, speed limit is 30MPH but you are just getting straight off doing 50+. Not only do they easily have you, but its a school zone too, you know how the kids like crossing the expressway. Its a popular speed trap, they gun from behind. I got caught with 3 other people.
