Unless you step on brakes, you will pass the 50 sign at higher speed and the conveniently located police car will stop you. Court Cost only overthere are $ 188.00. Fine will be in top.
Clocking vehicles coming around turn in transition from 45 mph zone to 35 mph zone.
There is heavy coverage from the city limits on the east side, to the US 441 overpass, and west to the Cartoogahjay Creek at West Old Murphy Road.
This one is just east of the county line. As with any good speed trap is is located where you will inadvertently speed up. This is mountainous terrain and the trap is set at a place where you can see a half mile ahead when coming from the West. There is very little traffic and you may not notice that the grade is just steep enough that if you don’t brake you will exceed the speed limit. No matter how safe it appears watch the speedometer. They are waiting for you.
