Westbound Rt 2 along Edgewater Park

Cleveland, OhioSep 05, 20100 Comments

Cleveland motorcycle cops have been spotted on the north side along Edgewater park on Rt. 2, westbound. Two of them parked on the rise 500 ft. west of the Whisky Island onramp. Cars speeding along past the waterplant curve and the exit are easily picked off. The cops seems to be having a good time. The road is 50MPH but is easily exceeded on this straightaway.

A Cleveland police car was parked in corner of BP gas station, hiding behind shrubbery with a radar unit. He was watching the red light at Fulton/Denison intersection, and also watching traffic exiting the new Fulton Rd. bridge.

E 105th NB between MLK Jr. Blvd and Chester Ave.

The (same) Cleveland cop in a black cruiser parks on the right (west) side turnaround just 200 feet north of Chester, facing the oncoming southbound traffic. This turnaround is across from the Pentecostal Church. I’ve seen him pull everyone: beat up Olds to Range Rovers. This stretch is 25 MPH, yet Chester and MLK are 35MPH. The cop is a real RICHARD-head, too.

St. Clair Ave.- E 21 to E 30-now has atomated camera

Cleveland, OhioApr 11, 20100 Comments

At 25 mph, this section has, in the past, been one of Cleveland’s top 3 revenue producers even before automatic cameras. No change now. Camera car changes spots and is there ALL THE TIME during the day. Most sections of downtown Cleveland (or near) are to be "camera free" by law, but this isn’t one of them.

Fulton Road & Clark Avenue

The police are parked inside and to the back side of the gas station, ready to catch you, and next light toward St. Rocco’s, they park on side street where you can’t see them unless you actually look to the side.
