This area has a mobile speed camera in an unmarked police car that is randomly setup. It is usually, deployed during morning rush hour M-F for inbound city traffic. Speed zone is 25mph
I-480 and I-71
There are devices along both highways that emit radar signals intermitantly. They are mounted on the corners (mostly R/H) of overhead road signs. You can see small solar panels that provide power, They are meant to set off radar detectors and frustrate motorists who use them. It’s a "Cat and Mouse" game to lighten your wallet folks.
West 65th between Clark Ave. and Storer Ave.
Police cars usually park across fthe street from the former Kmart store. Mostly unmarked car but occasionaly a marked car and even an unmanned camera car. They like to park alongside the buildings where they are hard to spot.There is also a school on west 65th . The posted speed on West 65th is 25mph.
W 110th & lake Ave.
I have a Escort 9500 IX and it always goes off and says " you are approaching Photo Radar" both west & East bound
In front of the main post office on orange ave.
Located inside of an unmarked police car, with a camera on the dash board. usually parks there during rush hour, starting about 4 O’clock pm. officer inside sometime asleep or crouched way down in his seat to give the appearance the car is empty. like shooting fish in a barrel, trapping working people. the city of cleveland should be ashamed.
