four lane rural highway(like an interstate) where the speed limit goes from 65-55-65-55 within a two mile span , this place is famous for hosing drivers. The kicker is,it’s just one or two oshp that are doing it. The others are pretty fair.

State Route 52, approximately 4-5 miles west of Ironton.

Such a small village, and such nice police cruisers. Not to mention the paid officers to maintain a 24-7 patrol. The primary source of revenue for Hanging Rock is… well… speeding fines. When you enter Hanging Rock from either the west or eastbound lane, you can be certain that within the next 2 mile stretch of highway you will either see a cruiser with a vehicle pulled over, or you yourself may become their victim. This is a 4-lane open highway that is _strictly_ enforced. I have had a ticket there, and I know of people getting tickets for 2 or 3 mph over the posted limit of 50mph.

US 52

I was surprised to see that Hanging Rock, a well known Trap, is not on the list. Any stretch of US 52 from Chesapeake, OH to US 23 is riddled with cops. Too bad these guys were not out finding other criminals.
