Strongsville, Ohio Speed Traps
Lunn Rd west between Prospect and Foltz
Car sits on concrete driveway, on north side of road, across from soccer field. Have seen mostly at 5PM or shortly thereafter. May alternately be sitting in either of the two soccer field entrances.
I-71 and Boston Road
ODOT, Strongsville, and Brunswick all love this spot.
I-71 South of SR82
During Rush Hour or late at night either ODOT or Strongsville’s “finest” will be sitting at the wall break. Be warned at night they do NOT have their headlights on and sit in the dark only to start their vehicle, turn on the lights, hit the sirens, and come after you.
Westwood Drive, Between Pearl and Prospect
Westwood Drive between Pearl and Prospect is an unrealistic 25mph. It is downhill and is very easy to get up to 45mph. But like most Ohio cities, the city budget is fueled by traffic tickets. Strongsville Police will park their cruisers in various subdivision entrances. Be careful!!
Lunn road between Pearl Raod and Prospect Rd.
Strongsville High School is on Lunn Road which has many hills and the Police find many creative places to hide in wait for motorists to exced the 25 MPH speed limit which drops for a considerable distance during school hours to 20 MPH.
