Thornhill, Ontario Speed Traps
New Westminister and Clark, St. Elizabeth Catholic School
In both parking lot entrances you will find cops at various times of the day. Sometimes its the undercover one, and other times it is the normal cop cars. They come whenever, seen them morning, afternoon and late at night.
Green Lane & King’s College
Police are always there. Speed limit is 40km/h. Don’t get caught in this regular speed trap, especially going westbound on Green Lane as you speed up down the hill. However, the police mainly enforce eastbound traffic.
John & Aileen (firestation, tennis court)
On Weekends, sunday and saturday whole morning, cops will hide beside the Firestation and caught any speeding car (limit is 50km/hr) dont get over 60km/hr, I saw lots of cars got tickets in that place. :p
New Westminister North of Steeles
Speed Limit has been recently reduced from 50kmh to 40. Cop hides in school parking lot just north of railway underpass, completely out of sight.
Steeles and Lauraleaf (Rail bridge) WEST
When going west the train bridge conceals the cruisers waiting on the grass, further concealed behind the bus shelter. Cops usually open the trunks to camo the white cruisers, OR use a dark blue cruiser. Speed limit is 60km, they usually won’t bother you at 75km, but be safe and do 70km. A sure way to tell that they are there is if you see cars stopped in the right lane. Area is often blitzed for several days in a row.
