Interstate 5 near Mile Marker 200
I-5 mile marker 200..city of coburg; police, regularly issue citations on this stretch of hiway..is a valuable source of income for the small town of coburg, which is 1 mile west of the hiway..
Cubit Street near Barger Road
Officer will sit in AM/PM parking lot, or behind WinCo by Papa’s Pizza. Speed limit drops from 35mph to 20mph coming across Barger, and from 25mph to 20 mph while traveling south on Cubit. Sign is hidden behind trees when coming from the north and when crossing Barger Rd, change is immediate and there are many distractions to draw a drivers attention from the new speed limit.
County Trunk Beltline near River Road
Coming over the River Road bridge going towards Hwy 99 there is an onramp onto Beltline that the State and Local Police like to sit. This spot is undetectable until your on top of the bridge.
The officers there are usually very friendly and explain the ticket to you as well as the exact reason you were pulled over. I got away with a warning from a Eugene Police officer.
They typically only pull over people going in excess of 65 (55mph zone).
