Montreal, Quebec Speed Traps

4-6 Cars parked on the right after Papineau exit before you arrive at Jacques Cartier Bridge. Speed limit is 70Km/h Slow down before you arrive at the lights

If you are heading west along Cote des Liesse autoroute and would be exiting to get to the Dorval airport I suggest you SLOW DOWN. Because once you get out of the autoroute the speed limit is 50 km/h. I have seen people doing 70 km/h on the service road once they have exit the autoroute. Remember the autoroute speed is 70 km/h not 100 or 120 km/h besides they heavily do speed traps here especailly during the weekends. The person who would catch you would be an unmarked Chevrolet Lumina with a light blue color.

Coming from Highway 720 West…..if u are going to be accessing Decarie…..be carefull…..as after that long curved slope……there’s usually a SQ trooper waiting under the bridge…or where the 2 lines become one . Carefull ’cause u tend to go more then 100 on the curve ’cause it’s going downhill.

2 or 3 cops on bikes awaiting for you to come out of the tunnel that comes from under the palais des congres. they’re hidding behind the wall of the entrance coming from rue cressent. 70 Km/h is the official speed, now, up to 90 even 100 is fine… BUT NEVER ANY FASTER THAN 100 !!!

If you are coming from HWY. 20 and heading east (towards downtown Montreal) as soon as you pass the Angirnon bridge there would be one Surute du Quebec trooper holding a laser/radar tripod. As soon as you pass that bridge the emerging lane coming from that bridge on your left will be filled with at least 3 SQ cop cars and remember the speed limit is 70 km/h
