6980 Cote Saint Luc Road/Cote St Luc Shopping Center

Montreal, QuebecOct 01, 20020 Comments

Overnight and early morning (never at rush hour) the Montreal Police from Station 11 and Station 9 survey traffic moving past the Cote Saint Luc Shopping Center on Cote Saint Luc Road. Drivers are stopped all night long–never at rush hour. Example> Monday, September 30, 2002 I was travelling East on Cote Saint Luc Road, no other authomobiles on the Road except for a police car about 200 feet ahead. I moved from the center lane to the left lane. After I passed the police car I was stopped and ticketed $42.00 because, "I failed to signal with my flasher, my intention to move from the center to the left lane". Traffic Control is especially severe, here

Motorcycle cops stand by the left side of the road at the end of the park before the cantine with a clear line of sight to the start of the park. 30km/h zone lasts for 75 feet and they will nail you!

Hwy 40 eastbound near Stinson

They hide in "pull-over" spot up against the wall just after you come over the hill headed toward Rockland. Then they get you to pull over in the next "pull-over space" right before the exit for Rockland St. Be careful when you come over that hill – it is a 70 zone from Decarie on.
