Montreal, Quebec Speed Traps

crossing into Montreal from the South Shore they sit at the Montreal end about 25 yards from the end of the bridge structure.Because the road curves from the end of the bridge you cannot see the SQ patrol car.So far I’ve noticed them there saturday mornings before noon.

Just got a ticket, corners Decarie service road and Vezina street, going South, on the corner of Decarie Square shopping mall, right after the underpass, just south of Jean-Talon Boulevard. It was around 7h30 PM. Maybe 4 police cars, laser radar. You should see the number of cars being pulled over…you don’t see it coming because of the underpass.

When going west on Henri-Bourassa, a bit after the entrance to the train station, there are usually 2 cop cars hidding behind a building before the Shell Station

On Cristophe-Colomb right after Cremazie Boul ( 40 Highway) going North, the second street to your right, cops hidden at night(as late as 11pm). They are very hard to see as they are hidden on a small and very badly lighted street. Be careful, limit is 50 but this is 3 lane wide street that�s very easy to hit the 80 – 90 KM/H on since very few lights or stops signs. I have also seen the on the other side (direction North) in the Centre Claude Robillard stadium parking. So either direction on Cristophe-Colomb south of highway 40 be careful!

(When arriving on Island of Montreal coming from Laval). Unmarked QPF Unit parked on Henri-Bourassa Overpass with laser, several others in entrance ramp ready to go. Especially on Week-end Mornings.
