Clemson, South Carolina Speed Traps
The Clemson University Officer parked his car along side of the road toward the campus on the bottom of the hill to wait for any vehicle to speed more 35 mph.
Speed changes from 55-45-55 with a decline so you’re almost always speeding for a brief moment, and they have a little cop pit stop right when you are so if theres an officer there someone is getting pulled over
A cop or two always sit and wait for you to come down over and when you cross still coming at 65 they ticket at 10 over or more if not careful.
Many tickets written in Clemson for not fully stopping at stop signs. Watch those signs where a patrol car can be hidden nearby. Fully stop and wave!
I see people pulled here all the time. The SHP and local police are very aggressive in this area. They set up near the bridge over Lake Hartwell on Old Cherry Road and do a great business with people driving on that stretch of open highway. Look up ‘Old Cherry Road, Clemson’ on Google Maps and the little red balloon will be on the map right where they set up.
