Clarksburg, Tennessee Speed Traps

The speed limit is 55 mph, coming into Clarksburg. The speed limit instantly drops to 40 mph, (on a 4 lane highway.) The 40 mph speed limit signs are place at in such a manner that you have to practically slam on your brakes, to a skid, to reduce speed from 55 mph to 40 mph. Consequently, most motorists are beyond the 40 mph speed limit sign before your speed can be reduced. The local constable is ready and waiting for this action. If you pass the 40 mph sign 1 Fort, you will recieve a citation from said constable.

These local law enforment agents(I think they actuallyonly have one) seem to pray on out of county plates. the speed limit drops from 65 to 55 to 35 in a matter of feet! Watch out!!!I think they need a new driveway for their firehouse this year!!!!
