State Highway 190 near Preston Road

2 State Troopers patrol the length of George Bush Tollway during weedays. Enforcement is pretty consistent between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Occasionally you will see Carrollton police near the tollway and Josey Lane. Enforcement seems to be sporadic on weekends but more likely than not, there will be enforcement then as well.
Regardless of the constant enforcement and 60 mph speed limit, traffic flows between 65 mph and 80 mph most of the time. The troopers tend to pick out cars going above 70 mph as they couldn’t pull over all of the cars going less than that 🙂

US Highway 75 near Plano Parkway

Plano PD enforces all throughout the day. Plano has the best technology there is to offer. Watch out in Plano, slow city, cops run radar all hours of the day. My advice, go 65 through Plano. Watch out for unmarks on the highway.

Officers sit in the left hand turn lane under the bridge at 75 and Spring Creek to catch speeders and red light runners.

State Highway 75 near Legacy Drive

Just as you exit Legacy SB on 75, numerous gumball machines are standing by to light you up if you’re speeding on the service road. I reluctantly contributed to their donut fund about 6 months ago in this very same location. They’re there most mornings out there so watch your six.

Plano Parkway near Custer Road

Exit Plano Pkwy, going East towards Custer. 4 out of 5 mornings, the same overweight officer out there issuing tickets. He’s normally out there during lunch hour traffic as well. Once you cross through Alma, keep it at posted SL. He’s normally off to the left, in the median, or in the newly constructed church parking lot.
