Spring Valley Road near St. John’s Drive

Richardson, TexasMar 10, 20080 Comments

At Berkner High School Officers cruise the whole vacinity starting at 3:30 PM until 4:30 PM. There are typically a minimum of 4 officers watching Spring Valley Rd, St. John’s Dr, and Yale Blvd.
Two officers will be parked on St. John’s Drive (north of Spring Valley) behind walls and bushes, while they are peeking around the wall with a gun and will flag speeders onto St. John’s Dr where another officer will await to issue a ticket.
A third officer will typically sit in the West Parking Lot watching the south side of St. John’s Dr, masked by cars in the parking lot and the buses.
A fourth officer will drive along Yale Blvd and also around the school through the residential area.
Some times this amount increases and the officers will overflow into the Target shopping center or sit at the Sonic facing Plano Rd watching for speeders and anyone turning illegally onto Spring Valley.

Collins Boulevard near Greenville Avenue

An Officer will sit in (his) car East of the Stratmark Bldg, facing out to Collins Blvd. This is a fairly regular spot and easy for (him) to go in either direction (East or West) after any violators.

Plano Road near Lookout Drive

Richardson, TexasMar 10, 20080 Comments

Just north of Owen’s Country Sausage (Lookout Dr) a Police Officer will sit in the exit from a parking lot across Plano Rd. Another officer will sit in a car just north of the park on the otherside of the bridge. There is a valley and people do pick up speed from the hills on each side. The officers will catch both directions. Some times there is just one in either location, but it is good to be aware of this.
