Richardson, Texas Speed Traps

A cop is regularly found during the AM hours pointing a radar gun at the South-bound traffic on the access road. The car is usually by the creek next to HR Smart offices.

2 motorcycle officers shooting laser. Going west on Spring Valley just past grove they are about 1/4 mile down. They sit parked on the sidewalk and shoot ya.

They sit in a parking lot and shoot the south bound side. As you come down the hill from Renner you will get hit about 1000 yards out.

After crossing 75 at Spring Valley, west bound, or coming through the Spring Valley tunnel there is an apartment complex where they will hide their cruiser. Usually right behind a sign that obscures their light array. Sometimes they will have multiple units with an officer standing at he top of the tunnel clocking you coming through the tunnel.

Between Lookout Drive and Renner Road on Plano Road, heading North, there are motorcycle cops that hide behind the trees and bushes and clock you as you pick up speed going down a hill. The posted limit is 40 MPH – most people exceed this. Be aware – they are there all times of the day but especially when traffic is light during mid-day.
