The police are not abusive in stopping speeders. Speed limit signs are not generously posted and going 50mph in a posted 35mph 6-lane esplanaded street is easy to do. The police have one of those Mobile Signs that flashes your speed as you approach. Police are often nearby to snag drivers above the posted limit.
