Interstate 15 near Exit Number 400 South Offramp
I-15 North bound 400 South carpool only offramp. They sit at the bottom and you can’t see them till it’s to late. The posted speed is 45 on the ramp and if you don’t have a passenger, you’ll get a ticket for speeding plus a carpool infraction, this alone is $300.00.
California Avenue near State Highway Bangerter
California Avenue, between Bangerter Highway and 4800 West. (Poorly) posted Speed Limit is 40, but with the width and type of road (divided, two lane) and its location (industrial, truck route, on the way to the Salt Lake City Dump) the speed limit feels much faster than the posted 40 MPH. BE CAREFUL, law enforcement is out quite regularly!
2100 South Street
2100 South, between 1500 East and 2100 East, just up from Highland High School
2100 S Street near 1700 S Street
Motorcycle police sit at the High School parking lot south side facing onto 2100 S. Can not spot them going East. Speed limit is 30MPH, but the flow of traffic ignores this.
US Highway 80 near State Highway Bangerter
On Bangerter, coming from airport, 2 traffic police; one sits in the median (right after drivers come off Interstate 80 heading south)sort of at bottom of hill with radar. Second police issues ticket. After 65mph on freeway, travelers forget to slow to 50mph.
