Danish Road near 11000 South Street

Radar trap is very well hidden behind bushes (I think someone trims the bushes specificaly for this trap). One block north of 110 S. you climb a hill from a stop the speed limit is 25 but changing to 35 over the creast of the hill. They work both sides of the street. You can go down hill and change from 35 to 25 or be going up hill into a 35 zone. They work it a lot at the begining and the ending of the month. Is there a monthly quota in Sandy?

between about 8600 south and 8000 south there are motorcycle cops on the East side that hide down a side street and use radar…they are mostly out early afternoon to late afternoon

South 9800 Street near Highland Road to 2500 Street

Officer parks along 9800, in public works driveway on north side at the top of the hill. They also park in the LDS parking lot at 2200 and 9800. The street is very wide, there are walls along the neighborhoods and there is a turn lane. It is normal to have the speed limit at least 35 on these streets in Sandy, but this one is 30, then East of 2200 it slows to 25.

The officer sits in the park parking lot, or a private street. He catches you just as you go over the crest of the hill. The speed limit is 40 but could easily be 45 or 50.

Ish Street near Ish Street

i just came down this HUGE hill, so of course im going a little fast, its night, im trying to see where im going, and i make a left and get pulled, apparently doing ’57’ in a 40 mph zone. the last sign i saw said 45 and theres no way i would knowingly go that fast right before a turn. the cop was sitting behind some trees in a parking lot with all his lights off – it looked like a normal parked car.
