The speed limit goes down progressively from 55 to 45 to 35 to 25, the last right at the entrance to town, just past Ida Lee park entrance. There’s often a town cop on the right side of the road (in front of the cemetary) where the 25 MPH starts.

Leesburg PD enforces all speed laws in this area using police helicopter, radar, lidar and VASCAR. No warnings, only tickets, no mercy.
