Martinsburg, West Virginia Speed Traps
Tabler Station Rd betw I-81 and Rt-11
Going east off I-81 exit 8 is a wide four lane road. It is easy to exceed the posted 45 mph limit after getting off the interstate. Police often sit in the middle of the road at the railroad tracks. RADAR can be pointed in either direction, irrespective of the direction the patrol car is facing. They can pull one car over after another there, first in one direction, then the other.
Old Mill Road near King Street
Police sit at the curve on Old Mill Road as you come down from King Street. The speed limit is 25MPH, but many people go faster.
All along Rock Cliff Dr.
I live there & see them pulling cars over at diff. spots at any time of any week. They really work the area along there. Mainly from the 4way stop signs to Rt.9. but I’v seen them on the other side of the stop signs also.
Arden Nollville Rd just before entrance to Orrs
There is a burned-out brick house on the west side of Arden Nollville Road just south (and uphill) from the entrance to Orr’s Farm Market. The house and all of its property is covered in heavy growth/vines, etc. Cops hide in front of this ruined house obscured by the plants and aim south (uphill) as cars are going downhill. The speed limit is 35, but changes to 45 at the bottom of the hill at the Orr’s entrance. In fact, the 45MPH sign is clearly visible On The Hill just past where the cop will tag you.
South Queen Street
Martinsburg City Police Set Speed Trap On South Queen Street In The U-Haul Parking Lot Across From Martinsburg High School. These Traps Are Set At All Times Of The Day And Night. Once You Come Over The Hill Either North Or South It’s too Late They Have You.
