I-45 South, Exit Ramp Pierce,Bagby   Houston, Texas

There is always a cop at the bottom of the ramp between 7 to 8 am and noon- to 1pm. Perfect speed trap because hwy speed is 60mph and at the top of hill speed changes to 40mph. You wont' see him. He camouflage with his police car trunk open like a broken down car. Be careful, it's the same cop all around downtown, he's only job is to give tickets.

Westbound on Alabama near 288/59 overpass (near Chenevert)   Houston, Texas

The cop stands in the median (hiding behind a tree) and flags you down in the middle of the street. This gambit is the *McDonald's* of speed traps ... You're in-and-out in record time! Seriously, the cop issued the printed citation in like two minutes. Nice "cottage industry" there, City of Houston. :^(

HW6 and Alief Clodine   Houston, Texas

Under the underpass. Cops sit in the empty parking lots by the streetlight. Watch your speed on the exit ramps. One cop tags you, the other steps out in traffic and signals you to pull over.

Beltway 8 & Westheimer Area -Give or take an exit or two Too   Houston, Texas

driving on the beltway like you are going towards Highway 59 usually right by the Westheimer exit or right after you pay the toll, there is normally at least a cop or two waiting on the shoulder with their radar guns. For the most part, I almost always see them coming around the curve, right before the toll pay up to the Harwin exit. Also, almost every time, they are in their "Ghost" cop cars so beware coming around the curves on Beltway 8 in the Southwest side of Houston.

Hwy 6 from Hwy 90 to Westpark   Houston, Texas

Sugarland PD, FORT BEND SHERIFF, DPS & HCSD all patrol this stretch of hwy. Watch out for the ghost cars (police cars that have the name as the same color as the car) you would think it is a regular car until you are right beside it. Do the speed limit to be on the safe side. Also watch out for HCSD at the overpass at 6 @ Alief Clodine. They are now using the parking lots on both side of the hill to catch you.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
