Sandy Pond Road near Old Sandy Pond Road   Ayer, Massachusetts

They wait by a Gun club entrance with one cruiser and have another pull you over. The court house is right down the street (In Ayer)so they will show up for trials. When I was there a good 50% of the people appealing were there for ticket received on Sandy Pond Road in Ayer and the Ayer police officers were lined up to testify. Other people who were ticketed in other towns we're getting off due to the officers not showing up. Total revenue generator

Route 2A-Park Street   Ayer, Massachusetts

A maroon car will slow to 10mph and hit brakes repeatedly just before a passing zone in a 25 mph zone by the Police Station. Do NOT pass this car, they will speed up, and not allow you in, then will tailgate. Although the officer will pull both of you over, it's just to ask how fast they think you were going and they will leave. You will then get a ticket with numerous hyped up complaint- largely things you cannot prove in court-of course.
This happened to me and I saw it happen to someone else.

Fitchburg Road (RTE 2A)   Ayer, Massachusetts

Eastbound or westbound between the railroad tracks and the Shirley line. This is a 35, but often confuses people coming from Shirley. It changes from 45 to 35 at the town line, probably because it use to be a military airfield entrance. Watch the sign and slow to at least below 45 or you will get stopped. If you go over the tracks in the rain at more than 45 be prepared to crash, they are rubberized. The only road in Ayer that is over 40 is Littleton Road. (45)

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
