On Heil Ave. between Harbor Blvd. and Newhope St.   Fountain Valley, California

The speed limit drops from 45 to 25 MPH due to school zone. The officer waits on either of 2 side streets - one side street is near Harbor by apartments, and the other side street is near Newhope across from the school. The officer is usually there mornings before school starts. He catches at least 3 vehicles per week during the first few weeks of school start and after holidays.

Harbor Road   Fountain Valley, California

Law enforcement monitors northbound Harbor Boulevard going over the Santa Ana river. The cop sits in the driveway of the plaza just north of it and waits for cars to speed around the corner. I see somebody pulled over and/or a cop poised with his radar gun almost every day as I drive to and from work.
