Lisle, Illinois Speed Traps
Leask Lane between Warrenville Road and Butterfield Road.
Both main roads are 45 mph limits but Leask Lane drops to a 20 mph.
Arboretum and 53rd
Whenever I’m going to school at COD there is always a copper right in the night exit of the Arboretum. Ive even seen cops hiding beside parked cars trying to catch people heading in from butterfield. Its 25 there so watch it folks.
Eastbound Burlington Ave between Yackley & Rt. 53
As you head east from Yackley on Burlington, you head down a steep hill. The speed limit is 25 mph and you have to put on your brakes even if you are coasting to maintain 25 mph. This road is also a favorite of commuters heading to the Lisle Metra station, rushing to catch their train. The police park away from the corners on the north-south side streets towards the bottom of the hill. I have only seen them do this in the morning, and I was caught as late as 10 am
