Pulaski Pike (infamous)

Huntsville, AlabamaNov 30, 20020 Comments

Going south on Pulaski Pike across the street from the fire station at the small church. HPD like to sit there, and a few hundred feet down at the mobile homes. HPD is very ruthless, especially in this area highly populated with teenagers and insane drivers.

North Memorial Parkway

Huntsville, AlabamaJul 30, 20020 Comments

Far up on N. Memorial Parkway, past A&M and the Fire Dept, cops love to sit in the dark to the sloped sides and watch traffic. I used to live there, and passed them out there every night, sometimes they had radar guns visible through the windshield. One of the cops got bored one January night, and pulled me over for slowly (2-3 mph) rolling through a stop sign at 3 AM. It was pitch black, and there were no cars anywhere, else I would have totally stopped. He threatened me with lots of trumped up charges (endangerment, reckless driving) and threatened to throw me in jail, and leave my girlfriend by the side of the road in 30 degree weather. SO SERIOUSLY, drive paranoid North of University Dr; most Huntsville cops are okay, but some can be real jerks. Don’t get pulled over and screwed for a simple mistake.

Interprise Way

Huntsville, AlabamaJul 17, 20020 Comments

The Huntsville police have started what they call a "Split Radar". this is where they have one sit in a car that looks absolutely NOTHING like a police car, then about a mile down the road they have several(10-20) officers giving out the citations. Pitiful just Pitiful. (speed limit is 35 in a highly highly! used area Research Park)
