Marquardt Ave. and Orangethorpe Ave.
A motorcycle cop with laser speed detector is usually perched on the west side corner of Marquardt Ave. at a private parking lot before the Orangethorpe intersection at La Palma. city. The victims are usually motorist from Cerritos driving southbound along open and clear Marquardt Ave. going towards the Orangethorpe intersection just right after crossing the aqueduct bridge. The traffic is in this area is usually light and is very tempting to speed up. I got a ticket once at this location and since this is my regular route, i always see the cop 3x’s a week hiding at the corner of an empty parking lot.
