Sunset Crossing near Diamond Bar Boulevard

A Sheriff on a motorcycle sits in the driveway of a house, about half way up the hill, that is very overgrown with trees, shrubs, etc. From that vantage point, he can point his radar gun both up and down the hill. This is a very steep hill and the speed limit is 25 mph.

Golden Springs Street near Sunset Crossing

Between 4:30-5:30 a.m. I have seen 3 Sheriff’s waiting for speeding vehicles between Sunset Crossing and Diamond Bar Blvd. One will often park in the middle of the street with his lights off, waiting for a car to come around the curve.

Prospector Road near Golden Springs Boulevard

About a block beyond a residential neighborhood. Officers waitin packs for cars to speed up for logical conditions. The speed limit continues to be posted at 25 (there is one small sign) there is no reason for this area to be 25. No schools, etc.

Pathfinder Road near Brea Canyon Road

Pathfinder Road (along that long hill). Usually a motorcycle cop but sometimes also a police cruiser. Careless drivers easily go faster than posted 45mph limit and get nailed. Keep your eyes open and don’t drive like a tool!

Officer hide by driveway on curve. Hill to steep hard to drive slow down hill.
