When your going up Grand Ave. right before you hit Diamondbar (that big hill) the speed limit is 55… right when u hit the intersection with the neighborhood it turns to 45… cops are always hanging out in the neightborhood.
State Highway 57 near Pathfinder Road
Look for the CHP at the top of the on-ramps. This is currently a construction zone with a posted limit of 55.
State Highway 57 near Los Angeles/Orange County Line
Traveling NB 57, upon entering Los Angeles County, you are greeted by signage indicating a construction and double fine zones are in effect. However, there is NO sign of ANY construction work on the freeway. In fact, it is not until you get to Pathfinder Rd where the speed limit drops to 55 and there are temporary barriers along the shoulders. Yet the CHP has heavily saturated this stretch of roadway through the Brea Canyon nailing motorist after motorist for speeding through a construction zone. It’s a nasty trap to extort twice the money out of drivers in an effort to get them to "slow for the (non-existent) cone zone."
