State Street near S. Pasadena Avenue
Most common for anyone connecting from the 210 westbound to the 110 southbound towards downtown via the S. Pasadena detour. As you drive down S. Pasadena towards the T-split at Columbia St. (or up S. Pasadena from Columbia St.), there’s a cop waiting on the side on State St. with a radar. The speed limit is 30mph, but it is VERY easy to go upto 40mph, so watch out!
Near Orange Grove exit near Northbound Near Orange Grove exit
A motorcop waits w/a radar gun near the Northbound on-ramp @ Orange Grove, then enters onto the 110-fwy from the Orange Grove on-ramp traveling Northbound & chases down his victims.
Foothill Boulevard near Sierra Madre Villa Avenue
Two or three motor cops station themselves in the driveway on the west side of the building at 3280 E. Foothill Blvd. Another motor cop is stationed further west on Foothill Blvd., and he alerts the other two of approaching vehicles which should be cited. During PM rush hour, they pull over a vehicle every 2 to 3 minutes.
