Iowa Avenue near University Avenue

Riverside, CaliforniaOct 19, 20070 Comments

Univesity and Iowa speed/traffic enforcement trap is a devastating punch to the already taxed citzens of Riverside. Standing near this trap, you will find it going off once ever 2-3 minutes, each ticket earning the city nearly $400 per violation. All that is required to earn a ticket is to not pause more than 3 seconds before making a right turn, making a left turn after the light turns from yellow to red (2 seconds) or a straight proceeding, etc.

This is a heinous intersection and I recommend you boycott all businesses within the University complex while this attrocity is in place.

The CHP hides behide a brick wall opening right before the Rubidoux exit and monitors with radar. You won’t see them until it’s too late, once you pass the brick wall opening you will see the CHP in your rear view mirror.

Maude Street near Arlington

Riverside, CaliforniaOct 09, 20073 Comments

Maude is a 25 mph street, behind the California School for the Deaf. It’s easy finding yourself doing 40 coming off or heading to Arlington. CHP sits on his bike on one of the side streets and gets you everytime.

Maude Avenue near Lincoln Avenue

Riverside, CaliforniaOct 09, 20070 Comments

Motorcycle cop hides behind landscape vegetation at Lincoln and catches speeders going both directions on Maude. Because of the Deaf School, this is a posted school zone and the speed limit is 25. I’ve heard the average is about a $200 ticket.
