Riverside, California Speed Traps

an officer sits in the dog park road just east of the santa ana river bridge on mission blvd I’ve seen him many times.

North & South Bound on Canyon Crest Dr. just north of Country Club Drive. The motorcycle cops(usually 2 of them) sit on a side street at the bottom of the steep hill leading to Canyon Crest Golf Course. Speed limit is 40 mph and it is after a very steep hill. Hard to maintain speed going downhill. There have been many fatal accidents there in the past couple of years however. Best to slow down going down the hill.

Half way between Wood Rd. & Washington at Chicago there are several business and MotorCycle Officer sits in parking lot with radar gun.

Motor cop sits on Valencia facing Arlington and radars folks going west on Arlington. He’s there two-three days a week in the afternoons. He’s been there for over a year and it’s 11/07 now.
