Largo, Florida Speed Traps

As you drive southbound, LPD sits across from Largo High School. This trap takes place almost every day with several LPD units anywhere from Rosery Rd to E Bay Dr.

The Largo police sit in the churches parking lot and wait the speed limit is only 35mph on this road and is only 1 mile long.

Units normally sit just north of East Bay Dr. on US 19. As you come over a hill from restricted access hwy to unrestricted access, and speed limit falls from 55 to 45, units laser vehicles as they come over the hill. Normally there will be 3 to 6 units working this area at a time.

I see someone pulled over many mornings at around 6:30 AM – they sit across from Mildred-Helms Elementary School. I was also pulled over in the same spot in the afternnon, but early mornings this is a hot spot!

LPD sits a the Shell Gas Station on the north east corner looking for people making illegal turns and running lights, as well as speed.
