Largo, Florida Speed Traps

They are always there between Central Ave. and Highland Ave. In empty parking lot of abandoned apartments, next to Jeep Auto Lot.. usually around there, Most all day. Also, parks at Jewelry/Pawn shop on corner of West Bay and 4th St.

After the 66th Street Over-pass – State troopers out of line of site. 3 lanes of traffic, new overpass, traffic paces usually at 55 to 60 MPH. Posted speed 1/4 mile back is 45MPH.

This AM location effects traffic East-bound on Bryan Dairy Rd.. The officer camps out next to the on ramp to Bryan Dairy facing East at the Belcher intersection. The speed limit is 45 but cars run regularly at 60. There are no houses or commercial properties next to this road. In fact most of it is fenced in to prevent pedestrians from getting to the road.
