South Elgin Boulevard near South Elgin High School / Middle School
Before the school went in speed limit was 45. Speed limit has changed to 30 and Cops sit in High School/ Middle school entrance with radar just at the turning of the curve in the Rd going into South Elgin.
Undemstock Road near McDonald Road

Chicago Street near Channing Street
Elgin Police tucked back at intersection of Chicago and Channing and in Old Elgin High Parking lot at Chicago and Gifford getting giving tickets for excessive speed, blowing red lights and loud stereos. I live in the area and have talked to the neighborhood officer to confirm.
State Highway Rt. 20 near Just West of McLean Rd.
WB Rt.20. Rt. 20 rises as it approaches the McLean Rd. exit. Just after you have driven over the bridge on the right enrtrance ramp the police will either hit you with radar from their back windshield or even stand outside with a laser gun.
State Route 20 near EB Between McLean Rd. and Rt. 31 Exit
EB Rt.20 has a ditch on the right side between McLean Rd. and Rt.31 but there are a couple places were the ditch is filled in and the police will park 20 feet off of Rt. 20. The cars are hidden by weeds and brush.
