Eastern Ave near RR tracks
The cops sit here a lot. Usually they are in the parking lot of the white commercial building near the tracks or at the entrance to Springhill Subdivision. Sometime they are in marked cars but most of the time in an unmarked. I live off of Eastern Ave and see them here a lot.
Essington Road near 135th Street
Driving north or south down Essington Rd, Between 127th and 135th street. They sit in the driveway to the subdivision or in driveway to Horse Stables looking for you to go over 20 on school days.
Drauden Road near Dina Court
Police sit on corner of Dina Court and Drauden Road. Usually there in am, but have seen them in the eve. Speed limit is only 30 mph there and many forget.
State Route 126 near Interstate 55
Coming off of I-55 onto Route 126 at the Plainfield Exit. Speed limit drops from 55 to 45 fairly quickly. Will County Sheriff sits behind construction company sign on south side of the street, right when the speed limit drops. Since you are still traveling at a higher rate of speed due to the expressway, it takes conscious effort to reduce speed so quickly.
Indian Boundry Rd. Street near State Route Rt 126
The PPD sits in the parking lot of the landscape building at the NW corner of Indian Boundry and Rt 126 just waiting for someone to go over the 25mph posted speed limit. They have even gone as far as to sit in a lawn chair on the opposite side of the street with the radar!
