State Highway 251 near New Milford School Road
Going through New Milford, just south of Rockford, the speed goes from 50 mph to 30 mph in a manner of about a mile. The drop from 40 to 30 southbound is on a downhill with no advance notice. The drop from 40 to 30 northbound is on the other side of a bridge with no advance notice.
Charles Street near 28th Street
Waiting on 28th just past the East High parking lot for cars moving eastbound.
N. Rockton Avenue near Riverside
Marked police cars are often posted along N. Rockton avenue, north of Riverside and south of Elmwood. The speed limit is 30 because of the nursing home, RocVale Children’s Home, and 2 schools, but it can be hard to go that speed because it feels you are in the country.
Newburg Road near Easton Parkway Parkway
East of Alpine Rd all the way to Arnold Ave.
East State Street
East of Fairview along Highland, Paris, London, Rome streets police often set up morning speed traps especially
there are usually several squad cars and men on foot involved. Remember it is a residential area!
