Portage Road near Clinton Street
Officer on foot on east side of Portage road at Clinton or Egleston roads. Cars waiting off to one side. Speed limit 25 but most cars are 35+. Slight downhill road heading north. Road makes a slight angle to teh left (west) and Blammo! they have you. They can paint you as you are heading down a slight decline which will boost their revenue. I see a set up here almost every day.
East Cork Street near St. Joseph Street
All of Cork Street is a huge speed trap every day, all day. Cops are either in or out of their vehicles, hiding behind bus stops, telephone poles, or at the top of a hill, in which you can’t see them until it is too late. The speed limit varries from 30-35 depending on which area you are driving. This is a ridiculously low speed and the City of Kalamazoo is waiting for you to get caught.
