Saint Louis, Missouri Speed Traps

Right past Olive on North bound 270 I’ve seen State Patrol in packs taking rader. Sometimes with the help of a helicopter or sometimes shooting radar from the olive overpass and almost always sitting on the side of the road.

One officer on overpass clocking, minimum three cars pulling over offenders.

2 undercover police pick up trucks, dark blue/black in color. One has a chrome plated tool box that covers the entire bed of the truck, the other is just a regular pick up. They hover around 44 eastbound and westbound pulling over unsuspected traffic.

There is constantly a police officer sitting on the Meramec Bottom Rd overpass on 55. Usually one there and the other sitting on the entrance ramp, far enough back that if you are traveling north bound, you can’t see him until you look in your rear view mirror seeing those red and blue lights coming at you! They are there mostly in the early afternoon, waiting for the Meramec college kids to get out of school. if not there they are sitting on the side of the highway between Meramec Bottom and Butler Hill on 55. It’s tricky to get past them if they are on the ramps, by the time you see them, it’s too late!

Noticed 2 to 3 City Police sitting just inside the City Limit catching cars going Northbound towards St. Louis City during evening rush hour. They ussualy sit around a bend and there is an on ramp and a hill that obstructs your view of them. I noticed them sitting there quite about in the evening.
