State Route 23 Northbound near Park &Ride

the cop sits in a parking lot of a bridal store and tuxedo store in front of a Getty gas station aiming straight ahead. You can’t really see him till you pass the park&ride. There is an overpass you will go under before the trap, but watch out you should slow down at the park&ride or it may cbe to late. The speed limit posted is 55mph. I have passed doing 60mph and have been okay. You should be doing 55mph but anything over 60mph and you will get pulled over.

Police car sits facing oncoming traffic in the Getty Station on Rt. 23 North over the hill after the Park & Ride. He could be there anytime of the day or night every day of the week and most often on weekends.

Interstate Rt. 80 near State Route Rt. 23/Rt.3 intersection

Wayne, New JerseyMar 02, 20061 Comments

There is a speed change where Rt. 3 and Rt. 23 cross Rt. 80. Eastbound there are bushes on the left right before the change. An extra lane starts right after the bushes which gives the cops a place to hide. Come summertime it is impossible to see them until you are past them. Right past where they sit in the extra lane, there is a break in the barrier where they can switch to westbound traffic lanes. They will park there and use radar and laser in both directions.
